This soft banana berry bread provides more flavour and class to its taster's pallet on every sampling occasion: the perfect combination of banana and berry that never fails to impress.

1¾ cups (265g) of self-raising flour
¼ cup (40g) of plain flour
1 cup of brown sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of mixed spice
1 banana, mashed
½ cup (125ml) of milk
2 eggs, lightly whisked
50g of butter, melted
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
250g of mixed berries (frozen or fresh)
Approximately 1 tablespoon of extra butter, melted (to grease the pan)
This recipe is definitely best eaten warm with a thin layer of butter over each slice. Enjoy!
