Cinnamon & Fig 'Nicecream'

Frozen bananas really are the healthy girls ice cream. They are so versatile and when blended make the base for any 'nicecream' flavour. I eat a bowl everyday in summer and play with different fruits, nuts, spices, seeds and nut butters.

Todays Nicecream is fresh figs, sweet Rawnola, fragrant cinnamon and of course frozen banana and peanutbutter.



Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 min blending
Makes: 1 bowl

Ingredients
1 tsp cinnamon
5 fresh figs
1 tbsp peanut butter orwalnut butter
1 frozen banana
2 Rawnola
1/4 C yogurt



Method
Place frozen banana, yogurt, cinnamon and 4 figs in a blender - blend until smooth

Scoop the pink nicecream into a bowl.



Top with 1 sliced fig, a tablespoon (or more) of peanutbutter, 2 broken Rawnola pieces and a dusting of cinnamon. A drizzle of honey is also a great addition!

Enjoy immediately and savour the flavour.



NOTE: If fresh figs arent available you can use dried. Simply soak in hot water for 30 minutes before use, drain then use as normal.
