An easy recipe for a cold winter's night or a warm summer's day served with salad. Easy to prepare and great to make ahead.

As I'm vegetarian I used Sanitarium Bacon Style Rashers, however if you are a meat eater, simply substitute this with chopped ham.

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 40 mins
Makes: 4 - 6 serves

145g Sanitarium Bacon Style Rashers
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups grated, tasty cheese
1/3 cup self-raising flour
4 eggs
Salt and pepper to season
1 1/2 cups milk

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Grease pie dish.
Combine Bacon Style Rashers (or ham), onion, flour, cheese, salt and pepper in a bowl.

Spread over base of pie dish.
Whisk eggs and milk together and pour over flour mixture in pie dish.
Cook for approximately 40 minutes or until golden.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Delicious hot or cold.
