Beef, Radish & Carrot Soup

A delicious clear soup of beef with radish and carrot with a hint of fried garlic. The broth is full of sweetness from the radish and carrot that is slowly simmered to brings out the freshness and flavours.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Makes: 4-6 servings

600g gravy beef, washed, diced
4 cloved garlic, chopped
3 carrots, peeled, diced
1 radish, peeled, diced
1 tbsp fish sauce
salt and white pepper powder, to taste
coriander leaves, to serve

Heat oil in a pot, saute the garlic until fragrant. Add in the beef, brown all over.

Add in the radish and carrot. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.

Pour in 1L of hot water. Stir, cover and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 50 minutes until beef and vegetables are tender. Season with fish sauce, salt and pepper.

Divide among bowls and serve with coriander leaves.
