Baozi is the name the Chinese give to steamed buns that have a filling. Usually it is meat or something savoury, but I went for something slightly sweeter. They also make steamed buns without a filling, which I enjoy with jam. Here I decided to try something that would not require the extra condiment, because it is already inside. Best served warm, you can eat them fresh, or heat up in the microwave.

Preparation Time: 1 hour 45 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes per bun (40 minutes altogether if done in two batches)
Makes: 8 servings

Ingredients
250g white bread flour
1tbsp sugar
1 tsp fast action yeast
1/4 tsp salt
125ml water
8 tbsp cranberry & chestnut sauce
