2 Firm Pears
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Rice Malt Syrup
Salt and Pepper to taste
Mint to garnish
Raspberry Chia Compote
Greek Yoghurt to Garnish (optional)
Quarter each pear and quarter again, until you end up with 16 pieces.
*In a small mixing bowl add the Balsamic Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Rice Malt Syrup, Salt and Pepper and whisk until combined.
Combine the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, Rice Malt Syrup, Salt and Pepper and whisk until ingredients are blended together.
Add the pear to the marinade and toss until evenly coated.
Place the marinaded pears onto a baking tray being careful not to overlap the pears.
Roast the Pears for 15 minutes then remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly before serving. Pears can be served hot, warm or cold.
