Soft and crisp, Saloni is the one of the popular snacks in India.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 10 servings

500g maida
2 teaspoon sooji (semolina)
1/2 teaspoon ajwain(celery )
1/2 teaspoon black paper powder
5 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 cups water
Oil for frying

Mix all the ingredients except oil for frying to make the dough .

Cover the dough with a cotton cloth for 10 minutes.
Roll out the dough in any shape.
Take different cookie cutters and cut shapes from the dough.

Leave for 5 minutes.
Place a skillet with cooking oil it on a medium flame.
Once heated fry dough shapes on both sides.
