Sweet and Sour Sticky Chicken Cutlets

Finger licking good sticky chicken with a spicy kick.

Preparation Time: 1 hour and 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes to 1 hour
Makes: 2 - 4 servings, depending on how many cutlets each person receives.

1 tbsp sesame oil
4 chicken cutlets
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup Chinese vinegar
1/4 cup spicy sauce
1 tsp garlic, crushed
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper


Place all of the ingredients in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Mix through, ensuring the chicken is well coated.

Place the bowl in the fridge and allow to marinate for about an hour. This ensures that the flavour remains in the chicken once cooked.

Once marinated, place the chicken on a foil lined tray, and cook in a 180 degree oven fro around 45 minutes to an hour.

Once cooked, serve with rice and fresh steamed vegetables.
