These little bites are super easy to make and taste great. Cheap and perfect as a quick appetiser or snack; they will win you over.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 10 servings

1 sheet of puff pastry, partially thawed
1/2 cup finely grated cheese (I used cheddar, but you are free to choose your favourite(s) )
1 egg, lightly beaten

Preheat oven 180 degrees, fan forced.
Brush your puff pastry with egg.

Spread cheese and using a spatula, press the cheese so that it sticks to the pastry.

Cut the pastry in strips of about 1 cm with a pizza cutter or a sharp knife.

Here comes the tricky part: using both hands twist both ends to make the strips twirl.

Bake into preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until golden and puffed.
