These are a great little treat and they are healthy too. Raw cacao is cold pressed cacao beans (chocolate in it's raw form) It is so good for you along will all the other things such as chia seeds for protein. I usually double the recipe as it's not enough and we go through them quickly.
Ingredients 3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
3 tablespoons LSA (linseed, sunflower and almond)
2 tablespoons pepita seeds
1 tablespoon of hazelnuts ( can also use macadamia's)
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of coconut oil melted
1 tablespoon of honey
4 dates pitted and soaked for 3 minutes in hot water
1/2 cup Shredded coconut to garnish.
Put aside coconut in a bowl and add all other ingredients into the processor.
Process until all ingredients are combined scraping down the sides if needed.
Take small amounts of mixture and roll into a ball. Roll in coconut and place on a plate. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Place in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to a week. With this amount of ingredients I make 6-8 and a about 10-12 if I roll them small to make mini ones.
