Salami & Proscuitto Pizza

Base


Simple to prepare and ready in minutes, this tasty treat makes a mean menu option for either lunch or dinner And the best part? It can be made ahead and frozen, or popped into the fridge, until needed.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 2 pizzas

Ingredients

Mozzarella cheese, sliced
2 pieces Lebanese bread
Half an onion, thinly sliced
Half a tomato, thinly sliced
Olive oil spray
Pizza sauce
100g Salami of your choice, sliced
100g Prosciutto, sliced
Handful Kalamata olives, pitted

Method
Preheat oven to 150C fan force
Grease two baking trays and cover with baking paper
Place one piece of Lebanese bread on each baking tray

HANDY HINT: These will serve as the pizza bases. Alternatively, you can purchase store bought pizza bases, although these are more expensive than Lebanese bread, or you can make your own.

Spray olive oil around the edges of each piece of bread
Using the back of a spoon, spread pizza sauce over bread bases



Ingredients


Top each base with salami pieces

Top each base with tomato, onion, olives and mozzarella



Base


Pop pizza into oven for 10 minutes or until cheese has melted

HANDY HINT: Cook one pizza at a time. That way you can start eating and the second pizza wont go cold in the meantime.

Cut as desired and serve immediately.
