Ingredients 2 large eggs
6 bread slices
2 teaspoon milk
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Pinch of turmeric and curry powder
Pinch of cinnamon powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Whisk the eggs and milk together.
Add all the dry spices and seasonings to it and whisk.
In a pan, smear little butter.
Take a slice of bread in a dish and add spoonfuls of egg mixture to soak the bread. Sprinkle cheese on top and transfer to the pan.
I prefer this method for soaking the bread. If we put the slice in the egg batter, it tends to soak up more liquid.
Cook on both sides till well-browned and crisp.
Serve with sauce of your choice though it tastes great all by itself.
