Seafood Bowl

Sometimes you want something different, and this East Asian-inspired seafood dish is most definitely the answer. The seafood bowl is one of my favourites because it's super-easy and you're eating after 10 minutes.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
8 prawns
8 squid rings
8 mussels
1 onion
Half an orange pepper
3 White cabbage leaves
3 Summer savoy (green) cabbage leaves
Half a pack of mangetout/sugarsnap peas
1 tblsp soy sauce
1 tblsp fish sauce
1 tblsp white wine vinegar
1 squeeze of honey
Black pepper


Method
Roughly chop all vegetables aside from mangetout, and add to a hot wok - if you don't have a wok use your largest widest frying pan), with a little rapeseed oil in it (olive oil does fine, but rapeseed has a milder flavour) and keep stirring around for 2 minutes

Add the fish, stir for 2 minutes, then add the seasoning

After 5 minutes with the heat still high the seafood bowl is done! Split the meal between two bowls and eat wit chop sticks for an East Asian approach that match the flavours of the dish. Lunch is served.
