Ingredients 3 salmon filets diced
300g fresh prawns diced
7-8 potatoes peeled and chopped
1 cup cream
1 cup cream cheese
1 tbs Dulse Flakes (from health store)
1 tsp of your favourite herb or fresh herbs (optional)
3/4 cup bread crumbs
4-5 thick slices of cheese cut in rectangular pieces
8-10 rectangular pieces of butter
Salt & pepper (be generous)
Dice the fish and prawns. Peel and dice the potatoes and put it all in an oven proof dish. Turn the oven on to 180 degrees.
Place eggs, cream, cream cheese, dulse flakes, spices and herbs in a bowl.
Whisk it all well and pour it over the potatoes.
Mix well together.
Add a layer of bread crumbs, top off with cheese and butter and add more salt and pepper on the top.
Put your dish in the oven and check towards the end of the cooking time. When it looks nice and golden at the top the cooking time is most likely up.
This dish is great with lots of steamed vegetables.
