South American Arequipe Delight

Delicious, easy to make South American delight.

Preparation Time: 2hr 20min
Cooking Time: Over night refrigeration
Makes: 8 servings

1 can (395g) condensed milk
400ml cream
2 packets of any milk biscuits

Put can in large pot. Add water and boil for 2 hours. Make sure you keep adding water as it evaporates. Let it cool. The result should be a light brown caramel. We call this arequipe in South America.
Mix arequipe and cream in a large bowl until even.
In a medium tray, make a layer of biscuits (if you live in Australia, Malt biscuits are a great choice).
Cover the biscuits with a layer of mix and be generous, this dessert is meant to be moist!
Repeat layering until mix runs out, making sure the last layer is one of mix.
Grind remaining biscuits and sprinkle crumbles over dessert.
Refrigerate over night. Serve cold.
