Spaghetti Bolognaise

Spaghetti bolognaise is a family favourite, something that even the kids will enjoy. It is just as easy to make a big batch and freeze half of it for another time when you don't feel like cooking. The perfect solution.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
200g mince beef
1 chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 stock cube
1 x 400g tin diced tomatoes
1 x tin garden peas
1/4 cup tomato paste
200g spaghetti
1/2 tsp. mixed herbs
1/2 tsp. ground chilli
Salt and pepper to season

Method
Heat olive oil in saucepan, and sauté the onions and garlic until tender.

Brown the mince, then add tinned tomatoes. Add half a tin of water, and stir.



Add the tinned peas and let the bolognaise sauce simmer for 15 minutes, or until the mince is thoroughly cooked.



Cook the spaghetti, according to the packet instructions. Drain spaghetti and mix in 1 tsp. of olive oil.


Serve with a dash of pepper - enjoy!
