This super sneaky recipe is great for those occasions when you are looking for a healthy, filling and tasty side dish, but don't have the time or energy to do anything elaborate. Easily whipped up in less than 15 minutes, you will be satisfied all round.
Ingredients 250g button mushrooms, cleaned and cut into strips
1/2 brown onion, finely sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic, grated
On a chopping board spread the mushrooms strips evenly out. Sprinkle the spices, herbs and garlic over (feel free to use as much as you see fit depending on personal taste - I personally use a teaspoon of each.)
Over a high heat, warm through the oil in a pan and add the onion. Cook until just tender.
Add mushrooms to the pan and cook over high for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden and soft.
