Spicy ginger garlic fish fry

Fish can be fried in different ways. This is an easy method and it tastes delicious.

This can also be served as a non-veg starter. You can use any fish you like.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
4 pieces of fish or fillets
2 tsp ginger- garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1/8 tsp lemon juice
Salt as required
Oil for frying
Curry leaves

Method
Wash the fish fillets in salt water.

Make the spice paste. In a small bowl, mix together ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder and lemon juice.

Add the crushed onion into the paste.

Marinate the fish fillets with the spice paste. Let it sit for 30 minutes so that the fish will absorb all the spices.


Mix ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the curry leaves first.

Then fry the marinated fish on low to medium heat until the fish becomes soft and both sides are golden brown.


Fry the fish

Then switch off the heat and move the fish to a plate. Garnish with onion.
