Ingredients 1 3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c butter, softened
3/4 c sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1/2 c sour cream, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 c fresh strawberries, coarsely chopped
3/4 walnuts (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180 C.
Combine together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
In a small bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add brown sugar and beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in the sour cream and vanilla.
Fold in the flour mixture only until the dry ingredients are moistened.
Fold in the strawberries and nuts.
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
Bake for 60 minutes or until toothpick has come out clean.
Let cool for 5 minutes and transfer the loaf out of the pan onto a cooling rack and let cool completely.
