Introduction: "A healthy treat that is also great for those summer BBQ's."
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 minute
Makes: 2 (in a tumbler size glass, otherwise 1)
All the ingredients you need
Ingredients 4 Medium-Large Strawberries
1 Medium-Large Banana
1 tbsp Honey
1 Cup of Milk (Full Cream, Soy or Almond)
1 Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream
Optional: 3 extra Medium-Large Strawberries for decorations
The ingredients in the blender
Wash strawberries for 30 seconds, and then chop off the leaves and place strawberries in the blender.
Peel banana, chop in half and then place in the blender.
Place ice cream and pour milk in the blender.
Serve desired tablespoon of honey at the top of the other ingredients inside the blender.
NB: If you're using a squeeze pack of honey, place the package upside down inside the blender, open the lid and count to five. The same amount of honey will usually come out.
Ensuring that the blender lid is on and blender is turned on at the PowerPoint, blend for 60 seconds on medium range. There is no need to worry about the ice.
Pour mixture into tumblers counting to ten each time, and place on a serving plate - no different to a standard size dinner plate.
Take your extra strawberries and place one in front of the smoothies on this dinner plate. Take the other two, and one at a time, cut in the middle of the strawberry to three quarters of the strawberries size and place on the side of each serving glass.
