Ingredients 250 g best beef mince
¾ cup onions, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
¾ tsp ginger, minced
Cayenne pepper, to taste -I used ¼ tsp
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp corn flour
½ to ¾ cup beef broth
2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
100 g pasta of choice
¼ cup spring onions, to garnish
Cook the pasta slightly less than package instructions, and leave in hot water till needed, and then drain.
Brown the mince, stirring until it is crumbled - keep warm.
Make sure you break up the mince as it cooks
Put the sesame oil in the pan and heat. Cook the onion, garlic, ginger and cayenne until tender.
Mix the corn flour and beef broth.
Add the broth, hoisin sauce and soy sauce into the onion mixture.
Bring to the boil, stirring for a few minutes - you may need to add extra broth, so watch that it does not burn here.
Add in the mince, then the cooked pasta, and sprinkle with the sliced spring onions.
