Tossing cooked noodles is the easiest and quickest method to make a successful noodle dish. Matched with rich flavoured and tasty sauces for a dressing it creates a delicious meal.

Tossed Beef Noodle

Fresh noodles are often better than the dry ones in terms of freshness and texture, however some good and special dry noodles are also worth trying.

My homemade sauces are tailor made for family taste with fresh and guaranteed quality. However, you can find similar products from some supermarkets or groceries to do a mix and match.

My homemade XO sauce is made from plenty of dried scallops, fresh birds eye chilli, hoisin sauce, raw sugar.

My homemade flavoured olive oil is made from pure olive oil infused with fresh lemon, theme, dried tomato.

My homemade chilli soy sauce is made from fresh mixed chilli, garlic, sesame, premium soy sauce.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2-3 servings

100g leftover grilled beef steak slices
1 tbsp extra-light olive oil
2 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped
200g HK top brand Sau tao spinach noodles
1-2 tbsp homemade XO sauce
2-3 tbsp homemade flavoured olive oil
1-2 tbsp homemade chilli soy sauce
Salad leaves, washed and ready to serve
1 tbsp roasted sesame

Heat 1 tbsp extra-light olive oil in a frypan over medium-high heat.

Add chopped garlic and beef slice, saute for a minute until fragrant. Set aside.

Meanwhile, cook noodles in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until just tender. Use a fork or chopsticks to stir occasionally. Drain.

In a mixing bowl, add the drained noodles, XO sauce,
chilli soy sauce, flavoured extra-light olive oil, roasted sesame and salad leaves. Adjust amount of sauces to taste.

Toss well to combine. Simple, quick and tasty.

Divide between plates.
