2 Layer Chocolate Cheesecake

A delicious 2 layer chocolate cheesecake with a crunchy milo base. It is the perfect cure for a sweet tooth and for anyone who's favourites include chocolate, cheesecake and milo!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

20g Unsalted butter, melted
75g Milo cereal or arnotts biscuits
250g Cream cheese
2 tbsp caster sugar
1 egg
30g dark chocolate
30g white chocolate
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
Icing sugar to dust

Preheat oven to 180C, grease a cake tin (I used a 12 centimetre in diameter tin).

Process cereal or biscuits until it resembles fine crumbs.

Add the melted butter and combine well.

Press into the cake tin and place in the refrigerator to set.

Beat the cream cheese and sugar together for 2 minutes or until soft and fluffy.

Add in the egg and continue to beat until well combined and the texture is smooth.

Divide the cream cheese mixture into two large bowls.

Melt the dark and white chocolate separately in the microwave for 45 seconds, stopping to stir every 15 seconds.

While still warm, stir the dark chocolate into one of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat for the white chocolate in the other cream cheese mixture.

First spoon the white chocolate-cream cheese mixture into the cake tin.

Spoon the dark chocolate-cream cheese mixture over. (Be careful not to stir the mixture too much or the 2 layers will not be quite obvious)

Bake for 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven and allow the cake to rest for 30 minutes to set.

Serve dusted with icing sugar and extra milo cereal to decorate.
