I've recently become quite fond of porridge, and I love adding in different ingredients each time. It means that you are having both the same breakfast and something different every day of the week.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 7 minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients

Base Ingredients
100g chunky porridge oats
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp agave nectar

Daily Ingredients
Monday
540ml almond milk
20g almonds
50g raisins
3 apricots

Tuesday
540ml hazelnut milk
20g hazelnuts
50g sultanas
1 peach

Wednesday
540ml cashew milk
20g cashew nuts
50g currants
1 apple

Thursday
540ml coconut milk
50g pecan nuts
20g desiccated coconut
8 dried figs

Friday
540ml soy milk
20g pistachio nuts
100g raspberries
50g dried cranberries

Saturday
540ml rice milk
50g walnuts
8 strawberries
50g dates

Sunday
540ml oat milk
50g brazil nuts
8 dried figs
3 plums

Other ideas
540ml cows' milk
20g pumpkin seeds
50g dried blackcurrants
1 banana

Method



  • Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for about seven minutes, stirring every now and then.
