A naturally sweet cake with a delicate flavour and delicious apple layers.

Ingredients
2 cooking apples
40g chopped hazelnuts
30g seedless raisins
½ tsp ground cinnamon
25g butter
150g margarine
75g clear honey
75g agave nectar
2 eggs
280g white self-raising flour
Method
Mix together the hazelnuts, raisins, and cinnamon.
Core, peel, and chop the apples, then add to the bowl.
Melt the butter and stir into the mixture.
Pre-heat oven to 180 ༠C/ 160 ༠C fan/375 ༠F/5 Gas.
Cream together the margarine, honey, and agave nectar.
Separate the eggs, and beat in the yolks with a handful of flour.
Fold in the remaining flour and pour ⅓ of the mixture into the bottom of a cake tin.
Layer ⅓ of the apple mixture on top.
Repeat the layering two more times and then bake in the oven for an hour.
