Asian Honey Soy Pork Fillet

This recipe is Asian inspired. It is low in calories so is good for healthy eating.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20-30 minutes depending on thickness of fillets.
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
300g pork fillets
1 sweet potato
1 teaspoon Chinese five spice
1.5 teaspoons soy sauce
1.5 teaspoons of honey
Assorted vegetables to serve

Method
  • Pre-heat oven to 200 Celcius.



  • Cut & slice the sweet potato.
  • Spray a tray with oil, place sweet potato on and then spray the slices with oil.
  • Place the tray in an oven and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Mix together the spice, soy sauce & honey.



  • Brush the spice & sauce mixture over the pork fillet.
  • Preheat a frying pan and spray with oil.
  • Fry the pork until cooked through, turning occasionally and basting with the remainder of the mixture.



  • When pork and sweet potatoes are cooked, place sweet potato on a plate, with the pork fillet on top.
  • Serve with mixed seasonal vegetables.
