Avocados may be rich in fat but like any other fruit, they come with a lot of health benefits. Avocados are loaded with potassium, containing 60% more than bananas.

Preparation Time:10 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
1 ripe avocado, halved and pitted
1 1/4 cups whole milk (or 1 cup whole and 1/4 cup coconut milk)
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon sugar

Method
  • Scoop the flesh from the avocado into a blender.
  • Add milk, lime juice and sugar; purée.
  • Add 1 cup ice; purée until smooth.
  • Divide between 2 chilled glasses and serve
