Avocado Topped Bread
This is a delicious and simple recipe which I am currently munching on as a light nutritious dinner. However it makes a perfect breakfast, lunch or snack.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 2 minutes
Makes: 1 serving
Ingredients
One avocado
A slice of lemon
2 slices of your favourite wholemeal bread
Black pepper
Method
Step 1
Slice the avocado in half and score the insides to create slices.
Step 2
Toast your bread and then place on a plate.
Step 3
Use a large spoon to scoop the avocado slices into your bread. Usually half an avocado per slice is ideal.
Step 4
Simply top with a squeeze of lemon and black pepper.
