Baked Carrot Chips
A low-fat, guiltless-free, healthy alternative to traditional potato chips. Jam packed with flavour and a burst of Vitamin C, these baked carrot chips will have you wanting more just after one bite.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Makes: 2 side servings
Ingredients
6 carrots, halved
1 tsp of Allspice
1 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 tsp of honey
1 tbsp of sesame seeds
Method
Preheat fan-forced oven to 200c. Line a baking tray with baking paper and lay out carrots.
Sprinkle Allspice on carrots.
Drizzle sesame oil, olive oil and honey over carrots.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and then use hands to coat the carrots evenly.
Place in the oven and roast for 30 minutes or until carrots are soft. Turn the oven to fan-forced grill and leave for 10 minutes until they are really crisp.
Take out of oven and serve.
