Baked Honey Brie Cheese w Rosemary

The weather is cooler and this is the season to indulge. A rich warm appetizer that elevated a common brie cheese into a cheese fondue-extravagant. A drizzle of some lovely local honey on top adds sweetness to the savory Brie cheese.



Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 4 servings



Ingredients
1 Brie cheese
2 twigs of Rosemary
2 tablespoon of honey
50g fine Italian proscuitto
2 slices of sourdough bread

Method
  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Place Brie in a small round baking dish.
  • Use a sharp knife to make a multiple slits on the brie.
  • Insert rosemary twigs in between.
  • Drizzle the honey on top.



  • Bake for 10 minutes until the brie cheese is warm and softened.



  • Look at that melted golden ooze...!



  • Transfer Brie to a plate.



  • Serve with cured prosciutto and sourdough breads.



  • It is totally divine with a glass of dessert wine.
