Banana Date Smoothie

This smoothie is delicious and super simple to make. It's great for a quick breakfast or to satisfy a sweet craving later in the day.



Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: N/A
Makes: Serves 1

Ingredients
1 Ripe Banana (use a frozen one for a thicker smoothie)
2 Medjool Dates
2 tsp Chia Seeds
Dash of cinnamon
200ml Unsweetened Almond Milk



Method
  • Remove the seeds from the dates and chop up.
  • Throw into your blender with the milk, chia seeds, banana and cinnamon.



  • Blend on high until smooth.

  • Poor into a glass and serve with cinnamon sprinkled on top and a spoon to scoop up any remaining date chunks.



  • This smoothie is my favourite breakfast smoothie. You can substitute the milk and seeds for any brand and flavour you prefer. I find the dates make this shake sweet enough but for an even more indulgent drink add some honey.
