This delicious smoothie is perfect for those who regularly exercise and are looking for a recovery drink that doesn’t require buying needless protein shakes and other supplements. It contains everything you need to help aid muscle recovery after a big workout or as a pre-workout substitute. With all natural ingredients, it still has that great taste, even if it is good for you.

Banana’s are a great source of potassium, however the use of frozen berries or other fresh fruits is optional.
If you are looking to keep your weigh down you can avoid the use of the malt powder as it encourages weight gain.

The addition of Yoghurt can also give your smoothie a fuller taste.


Preparation Time: 5 Mins
Cooking Time: 2 Mins
Makes: 1 Serving

Ingredients
2 cups of Milk
1 Banana.
2 Egg
1 Tablespoon of Honey
½ Tablespoon of Wheat Germ
1 Teaspoon of Malt Powder.

Method
  • Slice the Banana into smaller pieces.

  • Add each ingredient into the blender. Dry Ingredients first with the honey last will allow it to blend easier.

  • Blend until the ingredients are consistent and indistinguishable from each other.

  • Pour into your favourite cup and enjoy.

  • Ready to serve
