Banana & Nutella Sweet Buns

Banana and Nutella are the perfect combination for dessert. If you love banana and nutella in your crepes, you'll love these sweet buns! It's so easy to make and kids would have lots of fun helping to make this buns.

Preparation Time: 2 hours 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 15 buns

300g bread flour
7g dried yeast
40g caster sugar
5g salt
1 egg
175ml water
45g butter, chopped

Nutella spread
banana slices

Place flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a stand mixer bowl. Mix.

Using a dough hook, beat in the egg on low speed.

Gradually pour in the water, beating on low speed until the dough starts to come together. Turn the speed to medium and continue beating until dough has formed.

Add the chopped butter and beat until dough is elastic, shiny and not sticky.

Roll dough into a ball, transfer to a bowl. Leave dough to proof in a warm temperature for 1 hour until doubled in size.

Divide the dough into 15 equal portions. Roll into balls and leave to rest for 15 minutes.

Roll out each ball, spread with Nutella and place a banana slice. Tightly roll up to enclose the fillings.

Arrange on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Leave to rest for 40 minutes in a warm temperature until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 200C. Bake the buns for 15 minutes until top is golden. Leave to cool slightly before serving.
