Basa with Mustard Crust

A simple, light meal that's big on taste.



Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 3 servings

Ingredients
500g of Basa fillets (approximately 3 fillets)
2 teaspoons of wholegrain mustard
1 teaspoon of sweet mustard
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
Salt, Pepper, Mixed Herbs (all to taste)
Olive Oil

Note: any other whitefish can replace the basa, if desired

Method
  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the wholegrain mustard, the sweet mustard, and the mayonnaise.
  • Place a little bit of olive oil into a baking dish and put the basa fillets into the dish. Coat the fillets with the mustard/mayonnaise mixture. Season with salt, pepper, and mixed herbs.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes until fish is cooked through.
  • Serve with rice and vegetables.
