Basil Sundried Tomato Fresh Parsley Burger
This recipe makes a healthy version of a fast food meal at home. Perfect burger patty served in between warm buns and crunchy juicy lettuce and tomatoes.

Makes: 4 servings
Ingredients
For the Patty
500g ground beef
8 sundried tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh basil, torn in small pieces
2 tablespoons fresh parley, torn in small pieces
1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
Salt and black pepper
4 burger buns, sliced in half
4 slices cheese
1 tomato, thinly sliced
Cos lettuce leaves
Tomato sauce
Mayonnaise
Wholegrain mustard
French fries, to serve
Method
In a bowl, mix all the patty ingredients and combine well with hand.
Divide the mixture into 4 portions and roll each portion into a ball.
Use both hands to flatten the ball into a round disc.
Preheat a griddle pan, place the burger patty and grill for 3-4 minutes on both sides until charred.
Transfer the patty on the baking dish lined with baking paper for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
Place the buns on the grilled pan and warm for 2-3 minutes.
To assemble, spread tomato sauce on one side of the bun, mayonnaise and wholegrain mustard on the other side. Top with a slice of cheese, burger patty, tomato slices and lettuce leaves.
Serve immediately with fries and a can of root beer to make it a perfect meal. Chow time.
