Another in my series of healthy, low fat, gourmet dog dinners is this Beef and Vegetable Broth.

The broth provides a great vehicle for maximum fluid intake for your pet (which means a healthy and shiny coat) while and the beef bones are full of nutrients and disease fighting properties.

A couple of teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to the beef and vegetable broth assists in the process of releasing the nutrient goodness from the bones providing your pet with a bone soup superfood as the foundation to this delicious Beef and Vegetable soup.

Not only will your pet be lining up for a bowl of this soup, but so too will your family members.

Beef and Vegetable Broth is a meal that will be enjoyed by your pets (and other family members).

Slow cook the beef and vegetables by simmering over low heat for 2-3 hours.

Occasionally skim the top of the soup.

Slow cooking meat and vegetables is a healthy and low fat way of cooking.

Remove the vegetables from the broth and dice into bite size pieces.

Return the vegetables and meat to the broth and allow to cool before serving it to your pet.

The soup will keep in the refrigerator for a week, the longer it sits the more mature the flavours of the soup will become. This soup freezes extremely well.

Your pet will love this home-made Beef and Vegetable Broth.

Excess broth can be frozen in an ice-cube tray and served to pets as summer time treats.

Beef Broth Ice Blocks - your pets WILL love these healthy and low fat treats.
