Beef Bone Marrow and Vegetable Risotto For Dogs

Posted 2015-10-18 by Annalisa Brownfollow
Even our little furry friends can enjoy foods enriched with marrow. Food trend or not, dogs will devour this vegetable risotto made with beef bone marrow.

Our dog, Jasper is on heart medication which manages his MVD and the secondary symptoms of the disease; namely fluid on the lungs and kidney toxicity.

His cardiologist and naturopath suggested adding marrow to his food or making bone broth for him on a weekly basis.

Although there are many beneficial reasons to include bone broth and marrow to the diet, with Jasper’s condition it is a naturally effective remedy in helping to reduce inflammation in his stomach and intestines and also helps the kidneys with detoxing from the medication he takes on a daily basis.

Of course, Jasper is none the wiser of the health benefits this super-food has on his system, he just loves the taste.
