Beef Capsicum Stir-fry

This is an easy and delicious dish I like preparing because it's so versatile; you can add any vegetables you like. I usually use capsicum because it goes so well with beef. Serve over with rice.


Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
500g beef, sliced into thin strips
4 capsicum
8 button mushrooms
1 medium onion
5 garlic cloves
Oyster sauce
Soy sauce
Cooking wine
Cornflour
Salt and pepper
Cooking oil


Method
Marinade the beef with some oyster sauce, soy sauce, cooking wine and cornflour, just enough to coat them. Leave aside
Prepare vegetables. Chop onion and garlic finely.
Cut the capsicum into thin strips and chop the mushrooms.


Heat oil in pan and cook onion and garlic until they change colour.
Then add the meat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.


Stir in the capsicum and mushroom.
Blend some oyster sauce with some water and cornflour. Return to the pan.
Season with salt and pepper.


Cook for a few minutes.
Serve with rice (I have serve mine with coconut rice).
