An oaty - berry bircher is possibly one of my favourite breakfasts, I sometimes want to drink it, it's that good. So I did. Making a smoothie version of oat bircher is possibly the best idea I had, and once the bircher is of a drinkable consistency it becomes a quicker breakfast- perfect for days when time is of the essence.
Preparation Time: Overnight
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 2 servings
Ingredients
3 tblsp porridge oats
a handful of:
strawberries
blueberries
raspberries
1 tsp vanilla paste
3 tblsp natural (plain) yogurt
Milk of your choice
Method
Start by making the bircher the same way you make standard oat bircher.
Place all ingredients in a mason jar and leave overnight.
In the morning it looks like this:
Scoop out half of the bircher and put in a seperate bowl and refrigerate for another day's use. Add half a cup of milk to the bircher, replace the lid (make sure it's on tight) and shake.
Stick a straw in and drink.

Drinkable berry bircher
The best part of this recipe is that there's no extra kitchen gadgets, or making a mess, or anything that really requires time and effort.
