Breakfast Pancakes with Bacon Egg And Maple Syrup

This is quite a different slant on a breakfast and the sweet and salty has a lovely flavour when mixed together.

You can make the pancakes yourself or you can use frozen crepes if you are in a hurry , or even the Shake and Make pancake mixes are excellent. You can then also make them nice and thin.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 1 servings

Ingredients
2 rashers short cut bacon
2 pancakes
2 eggs
Maple syrup, to drizzle

Method
  • I used [link http://reviewclue.com.au/creative-gourmet-gluten-free-french-style-crepes/ frozen crepes] in this instance as I was in a hurry.

  • If you want to make your own, you mix 1 cup self-raising flour, 1 cup milk, and 1 egg, and this makes enough for two people.

  • Brown the bacon -I like mine very well done.

  • Fry the egg to your liking.

  • Defrost the pancake and heat in the microwave.

  • Put it all together on a plate, and pour maple syrup over it.

  • Very yummy, and filling.
