Breakfast Smoothie
I had this smoothie countless times when I was on holiday, and as advertised it really was like breakfast in a cup. The citrus fruits will wake you up, and the fibre from the fruit will fill you up until lunch time, could a smoothie be any more perfect? And it's gluten and dairy free!

Makes: 1 servings
Ingredients
A bunch of spinach
Half a ripe avocado
2 ripe bananas
10 pineapple chunks
1 celery stick
3 apples
1/3 of a lemon
1/3 of a lime
Method
Juice the celery, spinach, apples and lemon and lime, in whichever order, it doesn't matter because it's going to be blended.
Pour the juice into a blender and add the bananas, pineapple chunks and the avocado. Blend.
Have a little taste, it should be thick, but not too-thick you can't drink it easily. Sip/gulp slowly and you're ready for the day!
I love this smoothie; the juice is a cleansing mix, and the fruit will line your stomach and help, er, get things moving if you know what I mean. Great for energy too.
Top with organic almonds and seeds if you want an extra boost in the morning.
