Cacao Blueberry Porridge

While typically dismissed as child's play, there is something immensely appealing about a chocolate-y breakfast.

However, don't be fooled by the 'naughty' exterior of this dish - it is actually a superfood powerhouse full of antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. Remember, raw cacao has been proven to be good for you!



Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 2 minutes
Makes: 1 serve

Ingredients

1/2 cup oats
1 tsp pepitas
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground LSA
1 tsp raw cacao powder
1/2 cup blueberries
3/4 cup water
1/2 milk (or non dairy alternative)

Method
  • In a microwaveable bowl, combine the oats, pepitas, cinnamon, chia, LSA, cacao and blueberries. Top with the water.

  • Place in a microwave on high power for 2 minutes.

  • Mix through the milk, combining the mixture thoroughly, until a warm, chocolate-y porridge has formed. Enjoy without guilt!
