Ingredients
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup popping corn
For Caramel
125g salted butter, chopped
3/4 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons honey
Method
Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Add in the popping corn and cover the saucepan with a tight fitting lit.
When the corn starts popping, shake the saucepan gently.
Remove from the heat when the corn stops popping.
Transfer to a large bowl and discard the unpopped corn.
To make the caramel
Cook butter, sugar and honey in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
Bring the mixture to the boil and continue boiling, uncovered, until light golden.
Pour the caramel mixture over the bowl of popcorn and stir until they are coated.
