Cauliflower and Carrot Paratha

Cauliflower and Carrot Paratha is a healthy breakfast item and is very popoular in North India. It is very easy to make and delicious in taste.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 9-10 servings


2 cups wheat flour
4-5 florets of cauliflower
1 Carrot medium sized
Finely chopped coriander
1 tsp cumin seeds
1tsp red chilli powder
1tsp coriander powder
Salt as per taste


In a bowl add wheat flour and salt.
Grate cauliflower and carrot with the help of grater into fine particles.

Mix both grated cauliflower and carrot in the wheat flour.
Add chilli powder, coriander powder and finely chopped coriander in the above mixture.

Make a soft dough by adding little water. Knead it for atleast 5-10 min to make soft dough.

Now make small balls of the dough and roll it into small paratha.

You can make your own shapes, which will attract the kids. Like I had a start shaped cutter, so I made star shaped parathas and my kid ate it happily. You can have hot parathas with pickle or curd.
