Introduction: "Just like an iced chai latte, but in the comfort of your own home."
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 minute
Makes: 2 (in a tumbler size glass, otherwise 1)
All the ingredients laid out
Ingredients 1 tbsp of Chai Spice (purchased at Herbies or similar, or even the tea spice you can buy at the supermarket is also fine)
1 tsp of Chai Spice to go on top (purchased at Herbies or similar, or even the tea spice you can buy at the supermarket is also fine)
1 tbsp of Honey
1/2 tsp of Honey to decorate each serving cup (for two tumbler size cups, 1 tsp in total)
1 Cup of Milk (Full Cream or Soy)
1 Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream (Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is also ideal)
Applying the honey into the blender
Pour chai spice mix into the blender.
Pour ice cream and milk into the blender.
Take your pot of honey with a spoon and distribute the required serving on the top of the mixture in the blender. If you're using a squeeze bottle, place the closed lid above the mixture in the blender, release the lid and count to five. This is equivalent to the desired serving of honey in the ingredients list.
Ensure blender lid is on and blender is turned on at the mains, blend for 60 seconds on a low-medium range.
With your honey, take the required amount and decorate on the edges inside each serving cup and pour smoothie mixture. For the tumblers used, you only need to count to ten.
Apply 1/2 tsp on chai spice on top of each serving to decorate.
Optional: take some extra chai spice (if you have any left) and spread across the serving plate.
