Chambord Champagne

Chambord is one of the most amazing dark raspberry liqueurs you can buy on the market today. The flavour, aroma and colouring is beyond phenomenal and that is why there are so many cocktail recipes available that use Chambord.

This recipe combines the delicious and sweet raspberry liqueur with a whole lot of bubbles to create a fruity and delectable cocktail.

I personally love the Brown Brothers Zibibbo Rosa sparkling wine for this recipe because the strawberry flavour of the wine really complements well with dark raspberry flavour of Chambord. However, any white or rosa champagne will do.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 6 servings

Ingredients
Chambord
700ml bottle of Champagne, either semi-sweet or sweet.
18 Blackberries/ Raspberries (Optional)
6 toothpicks (Optional)

Method
  • Pour 15ml of Chambord into a wine flute.

  • Fill up the rest of the wine flute with sparkling wine.

  • You can either serve and drink the cocktail as it is in the photo above, or you can add a berry garnish for a classier looking cocktail.

  • Skewer 3 blackberries or raspberries onto each of the toothpicks.
  • Place the skewered berries on top of the wine flute and serve.
