This is a simple recipe I have created that is great for a snack, and sometimes I have two for lunch. It's really easy to make and a good recipe to start with when getting children to help out in the kitchen and learn how to cook.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Makes: 2-4 serves

1 can of Heinz baked beans in ham sauce
2 tablespoons of green peas
1 packet of four entertainment dinner rolls (see notes)
1 cup of grated tasty cheese
1/2 cup rocket leaves to garnish (optional)

To start preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan forced.
Cut bread rolls lengthwise to make them easier to handle when cooked.

Place bread rolls on a baking tray and bake until browned on top (about 5-10 minutes).
Cook peas until done, strain and set aside.
When bread rolls are almost cooked heat up the baked beans in the microwave for 1 minute to heat through, then add the peas and mix through.
Once bread rolls have been baked, take them from the oven.
As bread rolls will be hot use a pair of tongs open them up to fill them with the baked beans.
In each bread roll add about four tablespoons of baked bean mixture. Add more to each roll if you can fit them in without the beans spilling over the side.

Next top each one with 2 tablespoons of cheese.
Place the tray back into the oven and bake until the cheese has completely melted.
Place bread rolls on a plate and garnish with a few rocket leaves.
Serve one bread roll per person for a snack or two per person for a small lunch.

Entertainment dinner rolls are available from Coles supermarkets. They are just like dinner rolls, but bigger and can fit in more baked beans. If you can not find these then you cake buy the regular size 6 pack and serve them as two or three per person.
