Cheesy Crumbed Steak

Taking crumbed foods and changing them from ordinary to extraordinary. Fried foods is only a sometimes food for me, but I love the taste. I would make it weekly if I could.
Medium cooked steak

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 6 -8 minutes
Makes: 2 steaks

Ingredients
2 pieces of Sirloin steak
1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
2 eggs

Method
  • Set up your bowls for crumbing one with the flour, in the second beat the 2 eggs, and in the third combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper
  • Dip steaks in each bowl in this order- flour, then eggs then breadcrumbs making sure each steak is well coated in each layer.
  • If you like your steak double crumbed, double the ingredients and repeat the process.
  • In a fry pan fill 1/4 of the way with oil and turn onto medium high heat
  • With just one layer of crumbs and the oil hot, place steaks in one at a time slowly as the oil may splash.
  • To have a medium steak cook each steak for six minutes, three minutes on each side. Or for double crumbed eight minutes, four on each side.
  • If crumbs are starting to brown too much turn down the heat and cook for longer, turning more frequently.
  • When ready serve with some salad or vegetables, it evens out the good and the bad.
