Chewey Fudgy Brownies

These Brownies are easy to make, quick to cook and even more delicious the next day. Serve hot or cold with cream or ice cream for a really indulgent treat.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30-35 minutes
Serves: 12

Ingredients
125g butter
125g dark chocolate
3 eggs, lightly whisked
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup plain flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch salt

Method

Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan forced and grease and line a 20 cm square or round tin

In a microwave safe bowl combine butter and chocolate and melt in 30 second bursts stirring in between (so you don't burn the chocolate)

In a mixing bowl add the remaining ingredients as well as the melted butter/chocolate mixture. Mix until well combined and pour into prepared tin.

Bake 30-35 minutes until a skewer comes out with a few crumbs attached. Brownies are moist so the skewer should not come out completely clean.

Leave to cool.
