Chia and Flaxseed Crackers
Such a quick thing to whip up these crackers are into the oven in minutes. These are also another vegan favourite of mine.
Chia and flaxseed crackers
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 8 crackers
Ingredients
4 tablespoons of chia seeds
4 tablespoons of flaxseeds
6 tablespoons of almond milk
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
1 teaspoon of Moroccan spice
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
Mixing the chia, flaxseeds and milk and spices together
When the seeds have soaked up the milk spread out onto a baking tray lined with baking paper into a thin layer and bake for 20 minutes.
Spreading out the mixture
Take out of the oven and slowly lift off paper with an egg flip and turn over and bake for another ten minutes.
Take crackers out of the oven and allow to cool, cut into four or six.
You can cut crackers out with a round cookie cutter, but I like the rustic look so I just cut them into four or six. This way also saves on wastage.
